Portland Area Dart Houses

Above is a link to a map I'm working on with Google Maps to include all bars, pubs, etc. with a dart board in the Portland area.

I know I am missing some now, and there are new bars popping up with boards as well as old places adding boards. You can help me by letting me know if you see something missing.

If you'd like to become a collaborator on the map, let me know and that is one more person to add places and help manage the list.

Happy darting!!!

We were at Kell's Irish Pub yesterday and I spotted two boards hidden in the back of the place. Wink

Any other additions people can think of?

I know there are more places around with a board or two - especially out in the outskirts or in SW which I am not as familiar with.

I can't get the map to open right now to see if these are there, but here's a couple I'd be surprised if anyone knows about:

Living Room Pub, Main St., Oregon City
Stillhouse Pub, 99E, Oregon City

Both are walking distance from 505 and have two boards, but they're often blocked by tables. As long as it's not crowded, Living Room doesn't mind if you move stuff to play. I haven't been to the Stillhouse in a long time, but thay had boards last time I was there.

I can stop there on the way home from work to verify. Just thought I'd post this before I forget.

Awesome! Thanks, JP, I'll get those posted.

Almost forgot this one: McMennamin's Edgefield (out in Troutdale).

Small but classy two board setup - just impossible to really play in because they put up these gorgeous metal rails that blossom into trees near the oche which, of course, get completely in the way when you're throwing and you have to walk around the rail to score!

Ooh, that reminds me: McMenamin's Barley Mill Pub on Hawthorne had one board in the back last time I was there. It's a cool little pub, even though the oche is right at the end of the pool table. Actually, the oche wasn't even marked - bring a tape measure or wear shoes that divide evenly into 237cm. Very Happy

Seems McMenamins puts dartboards up more for decoration than for play. Shame on them.

Good point - Kell's didn't have an oche either. Oh well!

Oches aren't necessary.

A real dart player knows where to throw from and the non-real players have an excuse when they lose. Laughing

I will add the Barley Mill as well - another place I haven't bee since before I lived here! Razz

Is it the main restaurant/bar here that has the boards?

Cool. I just haven't been out there in a while, and not overly familiar with it. Is this in the Power Station Pub, or part of the Black Rabbit restaurant/bar?

No idea what the name of the room is - I've only been there twice.

Isaac, just FYI - I stopped by Highland Stillhouse Pub just now and verified that they do have a board still. Hadn't been there for a while. It's a nice, British-style pub with good food (from what I hear). Usually really crowded for dinner but quiet the rest of the time. Beer is a little spendy but they have some on tap that I rarely see anywhere else.

Also, would this be a good thread to make into a "sticky", so people coould reference the map?
