Or just do it yourself.
Use a rivet gun to remove the points..$15 at Home Depot. The trick is to remove the nut used on the gun where the rivet would go and use a washer with a small hole in the middle. One squeeze and done..then remove old point with Vise Grip pliers.
The new point is easier. Put a little red Loctite on a paper towel. Roll the end that goes into the dart in the Loctite. Insert the point and give it a couple of taps against a 2 by 4 with a rubber mallet. Give it an hour to set and you're all set.

The complete gamster on moody street in waltham still does it I believe I have gotten it done there a few times in the past. You should be able to find them on google not sure off the price I think it was around $20 |

This sounds like a neat process, and you make it sound pretty easy. I've never done retipping of ANY sort and am a bit unfamiliar with even tips when not in darts. Is there any alignment of the tip, or is that unnecessary? Basically it only just fits in the barrel, so you just need to tap it in, to make sure it goes in all the way? Then the loctite does its job? So there isn't room to screw this up and not have a perfectly straight point?

It is possible to have it sit crooked on the initial insertion but when you tap it in with the mallet they straighten out as they fit into the barrel. I suppose if you are too aggressive you could bend the point but hasn't happened to me yet.
The Loctite holds it in nicely..never had one pop out yet. Usually only takes an hour to set but I play it safe and let them sit overnight.

Cool, thanks! Sounds like a pretty simple process I'd like to try.

I own a dart point replacment tool. PM me and I can arrange to meet you the next time I'm in Portland for darts, which looks like May 22/23.
If you don't get it done by then, I'd be glad to help. All you need are the replacement points. It takes about 10 minutes and it's free.

That is awesome - thanks a lot for the offer!
I don't have funds to experiment with new points right now. I am back to using my piranhas and the tips work great. I do have a set of Silver Widows that I used for a long while before that. On those my tips are NOT straight and I can roll the barrel and watch the wobble of my dart point. I am not sure if that would be fixed with a replaced point, or is a messed up barrel/threading likely or possible?
In any case, I am sure I will take you up on this at some point down the road.
