Our gravitationally challenged simian was going to try to throw his darts before one of his league nights in the next coupla days.
I emailed Cerchio to see if he is still playing.
If we end up with a Commander unpaired, maybe I will have his shots applied to himself, lol. It'd be interesting. _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.

Monkeys are an interesting species,
full of tricks, clever and smart,
but far too likely to throw their own feces....
good thing they cannot grip a fart. _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.

He's just a chunk-chucking, wing-wending, poo-pitching dart player and everybody better watch out when the fur flies!!! Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttt'ssssssssssss, Fly-Yin, MuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnKey!!
Opposing him tonight, well, actually he threw his game way back on June 23rd, so he's long gone and there are cobwebs ALL over his tanks, Erik The Foundaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaationnnnn McVay!!! Commandant of the Marines!
Starting out with a horrendous lead, but with more medal to melt, The Commandant has 35 machines while The Skyborne Simian has but 20!
Monkey figures on hitting something with every poopy projectile. Erik might have some difficulty locating the sparse selection of steel he has to try target.
FlyinMonkey feces Erik, er, sorry, faces Erik... well, he probably feces him too... yuck. Out he roars, pops out of the turret hatch, grabs the tank with his feet and flies up into.... into... no, no way he can lift a tank, stoopid monkey!!
So, he races out ground-bound and tosses four gushy grenades into Erik's Canyon 20! Three explosions are heard! Them are potent poopies!! A trio of butt bombs find exactly three tanks stationed in the 19s!
The Commander of the Marine tanks starts off slowly, pots a single into the 18s which only puffs sand. A treble from his turret finds exactly three armoured poop porters in the 17s, turnabout is fair play. No, don't YOU turn about FM, sheesh, you have enough ammo already! Double yuck.
The Flying Mun .... key ... sorry Sally Field, continues some very hot shooting (leave that straight line right alone, BH.....) and three more shells get shot into the 18s, for full value. Yet another triplet, this time at Canyon 17 reduces three more Marine tanks to scrap iron.
Tank Commander Erik shoots a brace of bullets into the 16s, and is rewarded with a pair of booms. Then a full four mark at the 15s is making sure he is locating those scarce similans and four kills are recorded.
Second Lieutenant F. Monkey winds his way to the 16s and 15s and lets fly another trio at each. Both salvos have no trouble locating steel targets - with 35 machines, Erik has the table set for MonkeyMan.
Returning home, the Second Louie launches a couple at the Bulls for good measure, and disappoints Erik who only had three positioned in there.
Frustrated at so much of his metal being sent skyward, The Commandant closes the pincers of a multiple attack on the Monkey's Bulls.... and squeezes!! But how many tanks are in there?!! One - boom! Two - boom! Three - boom! Four - boom! Five - boom! SIX - BOOM!! Erik loaded for Bull and took out six of seven!!
The Marines used their strategic sense to fantastic effect and while only shooting at 20 tanks, Erik hit on 15 of 16 marks!!!! FlyinMonkey is reduced to a scant five machines!!!
The Simian sizzled too! And while it was easier shooting at 35 armoured beasts, his 21 marks were impressive and he failed to hit with only one. Erik's total is lowered by 20 to 15. _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.

That just leaves CerchioInterno to battle Dsm1mtm, but the Rosiko Squad is not to be seen... I have other stuff to do tonight, so we will give CI at least one more day.... if he hasn't shot on the weekend, I will have to have Dsm turn his guns on himself... _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.

Nice darts Sir!! I did the best I could but you certainly found my tanks. Sorry it took so long for me to shoot the games. Won't happen again. Stuff happens. Can't wait to keep it going! You'll see some Base-Bull by the end of the weekend BH. _________________ Minute Man Dart League

I think if the other participant does not show, we should let BH select someone to place the tanks and shoot for him.? _________________ Vice President, DoubleCork, Inc.

I am glad you made your wishes known, Dsm, that is the most important thing. I certainly don't want you to exit the tourney.
(but have you worked out that as it turns out, you wouldn't lose that many? lol)
I have an extra round from one player from weeks ago in fact, if you would be okay with those shots being used against you. If CI doesn't turn up in the next day, would that be fine? _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.

Okay, Cerchio has not answered these posts nor my email, so... the Rosiko Squad must have run across my mine field.... oopsie, my bad. Erik gave me some leftover munitions from his tours of duty, and I kinda spelled my name with them in the sand... slow day. I suppose the Italians got lost and took a wrong shortcut.
That leaves Dsm1mtm without a dance partner. However, I have an extra set of shots from an enthusiastic shooter from a while back. Let's see how it goes.
The nature of this battle will be a shootout. Tanks align on opposing ridges. Commander Dsm pulls his armour into formation along the sisal's edge and targets the mirroring machines in the miragey distance. The unnamed combatank has painted large black masks across his turrets to keep his identity secret. And no, it isn't me.
Tank Commander Dsm launches his first barrage, a four barrel salvo over to the 20s. Nobody there.
The next sounds you will hear is the exchange of shells across the 19s, three shots each way, three kills on each side.
Neither fired at the 18s!
In a deja blew of the 19s, a trio of tanks explode on each ridgeline.
Dsm stationed no steel in the 16s, so a pair of potshots at his firing line simply sent sand skyward. However, when Dsm returned the favour, he found a brace of beasties at home and blew them away.
An engagement of the 15s sees the secret shooter get the better of Commander Dsm, five marks to three.
Secret Sam rockets three rounds into the obvious choice of Bulls, only to find that Dsm out-thought the conventional wisdom. No kills there!
Overall, Commander Dsm hit on 11 of 18 marks, and lost 11 in return, to go from 37 down to 26.
And that concludes Round III! _________________ My darts were born of father's play, decades later to leagues then led.
